The self assessment tax returns deadline has been extended by 2 days

Due to proposed strike action on the 31st January 2012, HMRC and the government have announced that the filing deadline has been increased by up to 2 days for this years return and fines will be waived for tax returns submitted on the 1st and 2nd February 2012.
